What the Solutions Engineering Manager will do:

As the Solutions Engineering/Presales Manager at SOCRadar, you will be a key member of our sales team, responsible for leading and managing the presales activities in Australia and assisting in other APAC regions . You will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by effectively demonstrating the value of our cutting-edge cybersecurity solutions to potential clients. Your cybersecurity expertise and ability to understand client requirements will be instrumental in shaping successful sales strategies and driving customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Leadership and Team Management:
  • Be the first technical sales person on the ground, and later on establish, lead and manage a team of presales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the presales team, encouraging knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
  • Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing feedback and performance evaluations.

2. Technical Expertise and Solution Demos:

  • Develop a deep understanding of SOCRadar's cybersecurity solutions, staying up-to-date with product enhancements and industry trends.
  • Conduct solution presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, effectively showcasing the value and capabilities of our offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with the sales team to support complex sales cycles, addressing technical questions and requirements.

3. Client Engagement and Relationship Building:

  • Collaborate with sales representatives and account managers to identify and understand client needs, aligning them with appropriate solutions.
  • Engage directly with clients during the presales process, building rapport, understanding their pain points, and providing consultative guidance.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders and influencers.

4. Solution Design and Proposal Development:

  • Work closely with the product management and engineering teams to provide input on product enhancements and new feature requirements based on customer feedback.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop compelling proposals, incorporating technical and business requirements.
  • Ensure accurate and timely response to requests for proposals (RFPs) and requests for information (RFIs).

5. Sales Support and Enablement:

  • Collaborate with the sales enablement team to develop and deliver training programs for the sales team on product knowledge and competitive positioning.
  • Provide ongoing support to the sales team, assisting with technical questions, objection handling, and other pre-sales activities as needed.
  • Contribute to the development of sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, and whitepapers.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in presales or a technical sales role within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, industry trends, and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of leading presales activities, including solution demonstrations, proposal development, and client engagement.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage a team to achieve targets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events.
